Setting off from the hostel in the morning, the children spent a full day fell walking. It was a long climb, but the views from the summit of Wansfell Pike were worth the effort. After a short break for lunch, the children began their descent and were back at the hostel in time for their evening meal.

Each evening, after the days activities, everyone walked to nearby Borrans Park where they could choose to play cricket, football or rounders.
