Year 5 Americas Day

The children looked fabulous in a range of creative costumes on their Americas Day. To enhance their learning in the new Geography topic, pupils made pop-up fact files about some of the countries that make up The Americas, including those in North, South and Central America, as well as the islands of the Caribbean. In the afternoon, they made guacamole and caribbean fruit cocktails, which they then enjoyed in our quad garden.
