Chernobyl Children Visit Crosby
Forefield Junior School held a mufti day and cake sale to raise money for The Chernobyl Children's Project - a charity that arranges recuperative holidays for Belarusian children affected by the after-effects of the 1986 nuclear disaster. Generous contributions from children and parents helped to ensure that the ten children who stayed with families in Crosby, several with direct connections to Forefield, enjoyed a holiday that was not only enjoyable, but also had a long-lasting and positive impact on their health.
