Class Assemblies

4C - Miss Crawford's class take us on a tour 'Around the World in 20 Minutes'.
4H - Mr Hall's class lead us on a series of 'Journeys'.
4M - The children in Miss Morgan's class take us on a Wally hunt and ask, 'Where's Wally?'
5B - Mr Brook's class adds a twist to a famous German legend in 'The Pied Guitarist of Crosby'.
5M - The children in Miss Sprawson's class present a rhyming assembly all about 'Poetry'.
5S - Miss Smith's class retells the story of King Midas in 'Greed or No Greed!'.

Themed Days

Tudor Day - Year 5 learn about the life of Henry VIII with stories, costumes and Tudor dancing.
Victorian Day - Year 6 rolls back the clock to the age of the Victorians.
World Book Day - Staff and children dress as favourite book characters.
Indian Dance Day - Children in Year 4 learn about Indian Dance.
Roman Day - Year 4 children enjoy a day of Ancient Roman themed activities.
Caribbean Day - Children in Year 5 bring Caribbean sun and fun to Forefield.
Eco Day - Children in each class design, make and model outfits made from pre-used materials.

Educational Visits

Quarry Bank Mill - The children of Year 6 visit a factory colony from the Industrial Revolution.
Liverpool World Museum - Children in Year 3 explore Ancient Egyptian artefacts.
Ambleside Holiday - Year 6 children enjoy five days of outdoor pursuits in the Lake District.

Other Events

Carol Singing - Members of our school choir sing outside Sainsbury's in aid of Thornton Jospice.
Christmas Parties - Children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 enjoy their Christmas parties.
Santa's on Strike! - Forefield Drama Club present their Christmas production.
Family Fun Maths Evening - Children and adults try to solve a variety of Maths challenges.
Young Musicians Charity Concert - Forefield pupils join other local muscians to perform at the Crosby Music festival in aid of CLIC Sargent.
Summer Concert - One hundred Forefield pupils take to the stage to sing and play for parents.
Sports Afternoons - Children take on a variety of sporting challenges in two separate events for Lower and Upper Juniors.
Year 6 Leavers' Celebration - Our Year 6 pupils bid us a fond farewell with a performance of the specially written production - 'Calamity James'.
Chernobyl Children - Ten children from Belarus enjoy a summer holiday in Crosby; several staying with Forefield families.
