Glorious sunshine greeted our Year 6 pupils during this year's 5-day residential visit to Ambleside. Over the course of the weekend, the children had the opportunity to participate in a range of outdoor activities including rock climbing, canoeing and ghyll scrambling.
Rock Climbing & Abseiling
After safety instructions and an expert demonstration, the children took to the rock face. As they climbed, the others offered support and encouragement from below. Once at the top of their climb, it was time to abseil down again. Remember - feet apart in a sitting position.
