3B - 'The Ancient Egyptians' - Children in Mrs Barton's class visit the land of the Pharaohs.
3D - 'The Ancient Greeks' - Mrs Dower's class shares tales from Ancient Greece.
3S - 'World Poetry Day' - Mrs Schwartz's class celebrates with a performance of the narrative poem, 'Room on the Broom'.
4M - 'Heave-Ho Harvest' - Miss Morgan's class leads our annual Harvest celebration with a retelling of the story of 'The Enormous Turnip'.
4W - 'Year of the Horse' - Children in Miss Gerrard's class celebrate Chinese New Year.
5E - 'The Milky Way' - Miss Edwards's class presents an assembly that is out of this world.
5M - 'The Tudors' - Children in Miss Sprawson's class share what they have learned about the Tudor period.
5S - 'Fantastic Mr Fox' - Children in Miss Smith's class present the classic Roald Dahl tale.
Themed Days
Tudor Day - Children in Year 5 enjoy an interactive workshop about Henry VIII and his wives.
Victorian Day - Year 6 pupils explore what life was like during the reign of Queen Victoria.
Roman Day - Year 4 explores the world of the Ancient Romans with costumes and activities.
Caribbean Day - Children in Year 5 have totally tropical time as part of their study of St Lucia.
Educational Visits
Quarry Bank Mill - Year 6 pupils visit Quarry Bank Mill as part of their 'Victorians' History topic.
Ambleside - Children in Year 6 enjoy a 5-day educational visit to the Lake District.
Theatres and Presentations
Tudor Spies - Daylight Theatre presents a mystery play set in Elizabethan London.
Performances
Carol Singing - Members of our choir perform in Crosby Village in aid of Thornton Jospice.
Tinsel and Teatowels - Members of our Drama Club present this year's Christmas production.
The Charleston - Year 4 pupils perfom a dance they have been learning in their PE lessons.
Y6 Gymnastic Display - Members of the Y6 Gymnastics Club show off their skills to parents.
4M WOPPS Showcase - Miss Morgan's class is joined by members of our music groups for a special performance.
Young Musicians Charity Concert - Pupils from Forefield Juniors perform at Stamps Bistro in aid of CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity.
Summer Concert - Members of our music groups and choirs perform for parents.
Leavers' Celebration - Year 6 pupils present 'Little Red Riding Hoodie' for family and friends.
Other Events
Christmas Parties - Pupils celebrate Christmas with music, fun and games at their parties.
Sports Afternoons - Teams compete in a range of activities in the Lower and Upper Junior events.
