Class Assemblies

3D - 'Friends' - Children in Mrs Dower's class share an important lesson about friendship.
3E - 'Commotion in the Ocean' - Join Miss Edwards's class on an underwater adventure.
3S - 'Teamwork' - 'Team 3S' helps us to understand the importance of working together.
4G - 'India' - Miss Gerrard's class explores Indian culture and traditions.
4M - 'The Web' - Children in Miss Morgan's class tell us about the internet and staying safe online.
5C - 'Fantastic Mr Fox' - Miss Crawford's class retells the classic story by Roald Dahl.
5M - 'Harvest' - Miss Sprawson's class celebrates harvest with the story of the little black cloud.
5S - 'The Pied Piper' - Miss Smith's class presents the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

Educational Visits

The Baptism of Annabel Grace -Year 5 pupils enjoy a special lesson about Baptism at All Saints with St Frideswyde's church.
Childwall Synagogue - Children in Year 3 visit Childwall Synagogue as part of their RE topic about Judaism.
Quarry Bank Mill - Year 6 pupils visit Quarry Bank Mill as part of their 'Victorians' History topic.
Liverpool World Museum - Year 3 pupils learn about Ancient Egypt through role-play and by exploring genuine Egyptian artefacts.
Ambleside - Pupils in Year 6 enjoy a 5-day residential visit to the Lake District.
Martin Mere - Year 4 pupils visit the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust centre to study 'Habitats'.

Themed Days

Tudor Day - Children in Year 5 enjoy an interactive workshop about Henry VIII and his wives.
Victorian Day - Year 6 pupils explore what life was like during the reign of Queen Victoria.
Indian Dance and Craft - Pupils in Year 4 enjoy workshops led by Purvi Parikh.
World Book Day - Staff and pupils mark the occasion by dressing as favourite book characters.
Roman Day - Year 4 pupils experience a range of Roman-themed activities.
Caribbean Day - Children in Year 5 add a little tropical sunshine to their St Lucia Geography topic.

Sporting Events

Liverpool Cup Finals - The FJS Y6 Boys Football Team competes in the Liverpool Cup Finals.
Sports Afternoons - Teams of children compete in a range of sporting activities in the Lower and Upper Junior Events.
Race for Life - Children run a mile around the school field for Cancer Research UK.

Theatres and Presentations

The Dickens Mysteries - Daylight Theatre returns with a new production set in Victorian times.

Other Events

'A Dancing Christmas Party' - Members of the Forefield Drama Club give three performances of this year's festive production to members of the community, to parents and to the whole school.
Christmas Parties - Children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 enjoy the celebrations.
Family Maths Challenge Evening - Parents and children work together to investigate a range of fun maths problems.
Forefield's Got Talent! - Representatives from each class perform for the rest of the school.
Young Musicians Charity Concert - Forefield pupils join other young musicians for a charity concert, in aid of CLIC Sargent, at Stamps Bistro.
Summer Concert - Members of our choirs and music groups perform for family and friends. Leavers' Celebration - Year 6 pupils leave us with a performance to remember.
