Class Assemblies

3D - 'The Gruffalo' - Mrs Dower's class retells Julia Donaldson's famous children's story.
3E - 'How to Keep Healthy' - The children in Miss Edwards's class teach us about the importance of a balanced diet and regular exercise.
3M - 'Ancient Egypt' - Travel back in time to the Land of the Pharaohs with Mrs McLean's class.
4G - 'Harvest Around the World' - Miss Gerrard's class leads or annual Harvest assembly.
4H - 'Signs, Codes and Symbols' - Mr Hall's class looks at how we use signs, codes and symbols in our everyday lives.
4M - 'The Vikings' - The children in Miss Morgan's class tell the story of the Viking Age in Britain.
5C - 'Water' - Miss Crawford's class helps us to understand about this important commodity.
5M - 'Mr Gum' - Children in Miss Sprawson's class introduce us to Andy Stanton's comic creation.
5S - 'The Olympic Games' - Miss Smith's class celebrates the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Themed Days

Tudor Day - Children in Year 5 explore the life and times of King Henry VIII.
Victorian Day - Year 6 pupils experience what life was like for Victorian children.
Indian Activities - Year 4 pupils enjoy Dance and Craft workshops led by Purvi Parikh.
Roman Day - Children in Year 4 enjoy a range of Ancient Roman themed activities.
Caribbean Day - Year 5 pupils soak up the sunshine for their Geography topic on St Lucia.

Educational Visits

Anfield Stadium - Winners of our 'Be a Good Person' competition tour the LFC ground.
Quarry Bank Mill - Year 6 Victorians pay a visit to the textile mill and apprentice house.
Liverpool World Museum - Year 3 pupils explore artefacts from ancient civilisations.
Ambleside - Year 6 pupils enjoy a range of outdoor activities on their educational holiday.

Shows and Presentations

Jack and the Beanstalk - Members of M&M Productions return with a new twist on a classic tale.
Hadrian's Gold - Daylight Theatre returns with a Roman themed mystery.

Other Events and Activities

Community Carol Singing - Members of our school choir sing a selection of carols and festive songs in Crosby Village in aid of Jospice.
Christmas Parties - Children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 enjoy their Christmas parties.
'The Stars Come Out For Christmas' - Members of the Lower Junior Drama Club perform their 2011 Christmas production.
Forefield's Got Talent! - Representatives acts from each class present their skills and talents.
Young Musicians Charity Concert - Forefield pupils join other young musicians for a charity performance to raise money for CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity.
Summer Concert - Friends and family enjoy a showcase of Forefield's musical talent.
Sports Afternoons - Lower and Upper Junior pupils compete in a range of athletic activities.
Leavers Celebration - Year 6 pupils present 'There's No Place Like Forefield'.
