As part of their History topic, children in Year 3 enjoyed a day of Ancient Egyptian themed activities. Each class took turns to excavate buried artefacts and record their findings and design papyrus bookmarks using heiroglyphs. There was even some Ancient Egyptian themed maths.

The children also took part in interactive workshops, led by Mrs Ashby of 'Real History', during which they learned about the lives of the Pharaohs Rameses, Tutankhamun and Cleopatra.
