Our Year 6 pupils brought the house down with this year's Leavers' Celebration - 'Telly Addicts'. The show, especially written for the occasion by the Year 6 teachers with input from the children, featured a family squabbling over the TV remote control. With pastiches of favourite shows such as I'm A Celebrity, X Factor, Coronation Street and Doctor Who, the audience were roaring with laughter (while slyly shedding a tear or two).

One scene in the show was kept as a surprise until the day of the performance. A very special edition of 'This Is Your Life' was hosted especially for our deputy headteacher, Mrs James, who leaves us to take up the role of headteacher at Hatton Hill in September. We wish her and all of our Year 6 pupils all the very best for the future as they face the challenges of a new school.
