Year 4 Indian Dance and Craft
As part of their Geography topic on India, pupils in Year 4 enjoyed a day of dance workshops, led by Purvi Parikh. As well as learning Indian dance routines, the children also explored various Indian customs and were allowed to try on traditional Indian costumes.

Later in the week, the children designed their own mendhi patterns on paper and fabric.
Purvi also decorated the children's hands with henna, creating a temporary tattoo.
Purvi Parikh is available to lead workshops and activities with schools and community groups.
