Tudor Day

In Year 5, the children learn about the Tudors in their History lessons. Their special Tudor themed day, led by Mrs Ashby of Real History, was divided into two sections. While half of the pupils tried their hands at Tudor crafts such as making pomanders and writing with quills and ink, the other children explored the life and loves of King Henry VIII through a workshop of stories, drama and dance. After lunch, the children swapped over so that everybody had the opportunity to try all the activities.
