'Tinsel and Tea-towels' tells the story of children and teachers from a primary school preparing for their Christmas Nativity play. An unexpected visit from OFSTED inspectors threatens to cast a shadow over the proceedings.
Will everyone remember their lines? Are there enough costumes for everyobody? Will the staff be able to cope with the stress of it all? What will the inspectors think of it all?
Having already performed in front of parents and the rest of the school, the children gave a third and final performance for an invited audience of local pensioners. Children of Year Six did a fantastic job looking after our special visitors. As well as waiting at tables with mince pies and cups of tea, the children also presented our guests with gift boxes that they had designed and made themselves.
