Year 3 children have been studying the Sefton Coast in their Geography lessons. Each class has been on a visit to different areas along the coast. At Ainsdale, the children took a walk along the beach to explore the creatures washed ashore along the strand-line. A walk along Southport pier gave the children an opportunity to see further along the British coastline and out into the Irish Sea. Crosby beach has a great view over the Mersey Estuary to the Wirral Peninsula and the mountains of North Wales. It is also home to the Antony Gormley installation, 'Another Place'.
