Crosby & District Schools' |
Swimming Gala |
April 2007 |
Forefield Juniors was just one of the eleven schools that took part in the 2007 Crosby and District Schools Swimming Gala at the Crosby Leisure Centre. Performing a range of strokes in both individual and team competitions, our team of 14 boys and girls from Years 5 and 6 swam extremely well in front of a large (and noisy) crowd of spectators. The entire team managed to get through the qualifying heats to reach the finals. Points were awarded for 1st - 6th place and were totalled at the end of the competition. |

These magnificent results earned Forefield Junior School the Overall Girl Winners trophy, and with a grand total of 65 points our team was just two points behind the Overall School Winners. All the children did an excellent job, both swimming and representing the school in this competition. Each one of them contributed towards making the Forefield Junior School Swimming Squad a great success. |
