Despite some dreadful jokes from one of the 'presenters', things appear to go well at first.
The 'audience' are keen to share tales of gold, diamonds and rubies...
Pieces of eight! Beware of the mummy! Groan!! Enough is enough!
...of pirates and their ill-gotten gains...
...and the discoveries of Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings...
...until they cannot put up with the bad jokes any longer, and decide to take matters into their own hands!

Turning away from costly treasures, the audience share their own personal treasures, including:
  • photographs of loved ones,
  • a favourite song,
  • a special toy, and
  • trophies and awards that have been earned.

These treasures may not be worth a lot of money but they are priceless to those who treasure them!

Which things in your life do you treasure the most?

Any more fares?

Finally, the discussion turns to National Treasures - things that symbolise English culture and traditions. These include Stonehenge, the FA cup, a London bus, Punch & Judy, and of course, a cup of tea!

That's the way to do it!
