Year 4 Egyptian Day 2006

As part of their studies about Ancient Egypt, the children of Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their very special Egyptian Day. Our young historians took part in a number of workshops presented by a team of archaelogists from Liverpool Museum. The children were able to explore authentic artefacts and complete some exciting activities.

As you can see from the photographs on this page, the children really entered into the spirit of the occasion with some fantastic Ancient Egyptian costumes.

Please note: The faces of some children may appear obscured as we have not received consent to publish their face on the website. If you are the parent of one of these children and would like your child to appear on the site, please contact the school. Thank you.

The day was made even more special by a visit from Maurice Smith, Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools. Judging by this photograph, he appears to have enjoyed himself almost as much as the children.
